In 2007 I’ve completed my 3 year midwifery training in Germany and feel privileged to have made my passion to my profession. It’s an incredible honour and each time a very special experience to care for families during this magical, meaningful and life changing event.

I believe pregnancy and childbirth are one of the most natural phases in a woman’s life which deserve respect, individualism and great wholesome, loving support.
My philosophy reflects a holistic orientated approach while providing safe, professional, empowering and woman/whanau orientated care.

Throughout my midwifery career I’ve supported women and their families in all kind of birthing environments- at home, in birthing centres and in hospitals nationally and internationally.
My 2 years as Midwifery Supervisor in India and South Sudan as well as my time working in Germany’s busiest birthing clinic in Berlin have enhanced my midwifery expertise additionally. These experiences have given me immense diverse skills to support you and your family in any circumstances.

I specialize in home births, but have access to Waikato Hospital, River Ridge East Birth Centre, Waterford Birth Centre and Te Awamutu Birth Centre.

I offer full midwifery service for you and your baby throughout pregnancy, childbirth and up to 6 weeks postnatally. This service is free of charge for all eligible women (NZ citizen/permanent residents, other visa conditions).
Please check: Am I eligible for maternity service in NZ?
Of course, non- eligible families are also very welcome, please enquire about a quote.

All my antenatal visits are usually scheduled at my clinic based at River Ridge East Birth Centre, however, if you are planning to birth at home, I usually arrange at least one visit to your house for optimal birth preparation.

I’m a member of the Waikato Homebirth Midwives Collective, the Waikato Homebirth Association as well as the New Zealand College of Midwives.

I work closely with a group of experienced midwives to ensure a 24/7 emergency cover for you and your baby.
